Adam is an extremely talented writer-performer and actor who is developing material for BBC Three, Baby Cow and BBC Radio. His show BRING ME THE HEAD OF ADAM RICHES won Best Show at the 2011 Edinburgh Comedy Awards and gained 5 star reviews at the Pleasance Courtyard. Adam is currently in rehearsals for the role of Andy Warhol in Harold Finley's play A THOUSAND MILES OF HISTORY which will run from the 4th to the 30th March at the Bussey Building in Peckham. ‘60 minutes of brilliantly conceived chaos – I never stopped laughing once.’ ‘Dementedly, lysergically creative and very cleverly written, too… a tear-inducingly funny piece of work.’ ‘There is some kind of wonderful to watching a great idea well written and expanded into a brilliant sketch, performed to perfection and squeezed until its comedy pips squeak. Adam Riches is exactly that kind of wonderful… The most gifted of character comedians.’ ‘The best sketch show I have ever seen.’ His 2009 Edinburgh Show ROGUE MALES was a five star success and his follow-up show ADAM RICHES RIDES! Adam is currently in rehearsals for the role of Andy Warhol in Harold Finley's play A THOUSAND MILES OF HISTORY which will run from the 4th to the 30th March at the Bussey Building in Peckham. The hour flies by in a whirl of one-liners, set pieces and cheerful menace. Riches structures it so that we feel the thrill of chaos on the surface with the reassuring feeling that someone is in charge underneath. “Yeah, laugh it up guys,” he says to some audience members, celebrating that they’ve been passed over for a spot of participation, “see you in two characters’ time.” Riches was under most people’s radars until he won the award last summer. This is his first big London run. It’s utter nonsense. And it’s an absolute joy.
