Beattie is a talented actress and member of sketch group Lady Garden.

She has recently been cast as the role of Tina in the ITV2 / Hartswood pilot JOE MISTRY.

Lady Garden are currently filming VTs to feature in every episode of the new 8-part BBC Three comedy series LIVE AT THE ELECTRIC (Tinderbox Television). Talent also appearing include host Russell Kane, Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner Adam Riches, Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer Winner 2011 Humphrey Ker, Two Episodes of Mash with Diane Morgan and Joe Wilkinson, Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer Nominee 2011 Totally Tom, Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award Nominee 2011 Nick Helm.

Along with her fellow Lady Garden members Camille Ucan and Rose Johnson, Beattie appeared in the second series of BITESIZE for Zeppotron and BBC Two with Pappy's Fun Club. They also teamed up again for Channel 4's ROBERT'S WEB, an Objective Productions series starring Robert Webb.

Beattie performed (along with her fellow Lady Garden-ers) at the last three Edinburgh Fringe Festivals at the Pleasance Courtyard:

Beattie played the role of Dora in the Old Vic read of Dawn French's new book A TINY BIT OF MARVELLOUS and also at Ely Cathedral. She also played the same role in the Radio 4 BOOK AT BEDTIME recording.

Television credits include JAM AND JERUSALEM (BBC) and SHELF STACKERS for BBC Switch.  

Theatre credits include new play DAISIES (The John Thaw Studio, 24:7 Theatre Festival, Studio Salford), MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM (Chickenstock Festival) and GUT GIRLS (The John Thaw Studios).

Beattie is a founder member of sketch group LADY GARDEN.

Beattie has written and performed comedy for three years, performing in JUST FOR A LAUGH (2007), JUST FOR A LAUGH at The Comedy Store, Manchester (2008), and both Lady Gardens Edinburgh shows in 2008 and 2009. 

She has also worked with Babycow Manchester in a comedy writing/development group.
