Ben Hillman is an award winning TV designer and renovation expert.
In 2010 Ben won ITV's nationwide search for 'The Next Big Thing' in interior design. Shortlisted by Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and Michelle Ogundehin (Elle Decoration) he was chosen from thousands of entrants to go head to head in an interior design challenge for the flagship programme ‘This Morning’ to makeover a family living room on a budget of just £1000.
Ben has since presented a series of Interior Design features on the programme where he taught the nation how to adapt and upcycle furniture to create unique and individual living spaces, and ultimately achieve a little bling without the sting.
As a result of this success, Ben has attracted a lot of interest from television production companies and is currently filming a new show with ‘ITV’ called ‘Auction Party’ which is being hosted by Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen.
Ben studied Product and Furniture Design at Ravensbourne College where he had early success designing and launching F-LUX lighting, one of the world’s first portable LED lights and prototyping furniture designs with the Conran partnership.
