About

In 2004 Danny won the BBC Tony Doyle Bursary Award for New Writing, since which time he has written various television commissions and original features.

Before becoming freelance, Danny was a commissioning assistant in Channel 4's Entertainment department, working on the channel's sitcoms and comedy series, including Ali G, Black Books and Spaced.

Alongside his writing career, Danny is an experienced script reader/consultant for a number of leading UK film companies. He also writes a popular screenwriting blog at www.dannystack.blogspot.com and the blog inspired him to set up the Red Planet Prize, a screenwriting initiative for new writers, with writer/producer Tony Jordan.
