Finn is a writer/director. He did art school, then did documentaries, then made docu-dramas, then drama, then commercials.  He now does bits of each.

Finn made several critically acclaimed documentaries, including Summer With The Johnsons (BBC 3) which won a PRIX EUROPA for BEST NON-FICTION FILM in 2005. In the same year he was nominated for a Royal Television Society ‘Breakthrough Talent’ Award.

His short drama Flak was nominated for Best Film and Best Cinematography in the Soho Rushes Film Festival 2011.

British national, Omar Saeed Sheikh, kidnapped and beheaded American journalist, Daniel Pearl, and is the alleged ‘paymaster’ behind the 9/11 attacks. In 1994, at the age of 22, he kidnapped 4 tourists in India in a bid to exchange them for Kashmiri militants held by the Indian authorities. This film dramatically reconstructs the terrifying ordeal of the hostages.
