Books

Georgia Byng trained as an actress at the Central School of Speech and Drama and between acting jobs started writing and illustrating stories for children. Georgia has published picture books: THE SOCK MONSTERS (Orion), JACK'S TREE (A&C Black) and a short adventure: RAMSBOTTOM RUMBLE (A&C Black). Her first full-length novel, MOLLY MOON'S INCREDIBLE BOOK OF HYPNOTISM (Macmillan) is now available in no fewer than 31 languages, and is the first in a series of six books following the wonderful adventures of Molly Moon. 

The film of MOLLY MOON’S INCREDIBLE BOOK OF HYPNOTISM with Molly played by Raffie Cassidy and cast including Dominic Monaghan, Sadie Frost and Joan Collins and several wonderfully talented kids was released in the US cinemas in 2015. UK theatrical release via Lionsgate expected in 2016.  Directed by Christopher Rowley, produced by Ileen Maisel, Lawrence Elman and Georgia, who also co-wrote the screenplay.

Georgia lives in London with her partner and three children. Her latest book, ALBI THE GLOWING COW BOY, illustrated by Angela Cogo, was published January 2023.
