Geraint is a talented and versatile presenter with years of live television experience behind him. He was born and bred in Cardiff and has been the main face for S4C’s youth slot, STWNSH, for the last 4 years. Within the brand STWNSH he presents numerous shows of all genres including game shows, comedy sketches and live studio links where he is heavily involved in the scripting and ideas side of programmes.
As well as this, Geraint has been reporting for Sportsround and Match of The Day Kickabout on the CBBC Channel where he has interviewed sporting superstars such as Jenson Button, David Haye, Ryan Giggs, Clarence Seedorf and Chris Hoy.
He has also presented for Sky Sports covering the UK School Games which was held in Cardiff 2009 and this year will host the Welsh School Games for S4C.
Music Festivals are one of his passions and he has annually been asked to present music acts onto stage at various welsh festivals such as Llangollen and the National Eisteddfod. Last year Geraint voiced the coverage from Wakestock music festival which was fronted by Alex Jones, Sarra Elgan and, in previous years, Huw Stephens.
Geraint also has a great deal of voiceover experience ranging from trails and adverts to extreme sport. He often voices Freesports on 4 for Channel 4 commentating on Snowboarding and skiing events. Geraint was also the voice of CHWA(3series) on S4C a program which covered a huge range of extreme sports and Red Bull events. Geraint also has a running contract commentating on Ras I Lundain 2012 (The Race to London 2012) with S4C covering welsh hopefuls build up to the London Olympics in 2012.
He is also a voice for The Level Playing Field Campaign and his voice was heard in-between Wales Football internationals at the Millennium Stadium this year and at the JLS concert at the Liberty Stadium.
Before his presenting days Geraint was an actor and trained at LIPA and since graduating has appeared in numerous productions and pantomimes.
As a member of Sportsround Geraint also completed the London Marathon in 2010 and plans to run another in the coming years |
