About

Originally from Tobermory on the Isle Of Mull Scottish wildlife cameraman and presenter Gordon Buchanan has spent the last twenty years filming the wild the weird and the wonderful animals that we share the planet with. Traveling to some of the world’s remotest corners he passionately strives to convey the wonder and beauty of the natural world.

With a passion for raising awareness of the fragility of the world’s endangered species and habitats, Gordon has taken part in challenging expeditions around the globe, in South America, Asia, Africa, the Arctic, Papua New Guinea, Russia and Alaska. When not gallivanting, his spare time is spent at home in Glasgow with his wife and two children.

Gordon has been recently seen in the BBC series The Bear Family and Me, Lost Land Of the Tiger, Lost Land Of The Volcano, Lost Land Of The Jaguar. He is a SpringWatch and AutumnWatch regular, and is currently presenting the new series Maneater Man Hunt for National Geographic.
