About
| James has presented from events including the London Film Festival, The Brits, various music festivals and numerous red carpet premiers. He’s interviewed some of the world’s biggest stars including Zac Efron and Christian Bale and has numerous broadcast and online credits to his name. Including T4, Five, MSN, Facebook and Bebo. He counts Alexa Chung among his fans and he’s even broadcast a message into space. James honed his skills at the University of Leeds where he anchored a live weekly programme for the award-winning student TV channel, earning himself 3 National Student Television Awards for his presenting and production work. That experience helped him win T4′s nationwide presenter search, Me 4 T4, which saw him flying out to Miami to present a weekend of T4 alongside hosts Steve Jones, Miquita Oliver, Alexa Chung and Rick Edwards. The same year James fronted a documentary for MSN and US network PBS. He travelled to America and Australia and interviewed some of the most inspiring figures he met along the way. Interviewees included Oscar winning animation director at Pixar, Gary Rydstrom and Carl Wilkens; the only American aid worker to stay in Rwanda during genocide. Back in the UK, James was immediately snapped up by RDF Television for an innovative project entitled A Message From Earth. The production saw James write, produce and present a weekly highlights programme, The Launchpad Show, from locations including Disneyland Paris and the National Space Centre of the Ukraine. From there, he presented the groundbreaking entertainment show b-box that he devised for social network, Bebo. James also co-produced and wrote the show which included celeb interviews, music and TV reviews and behind the scenes featurettes. It soon became one of Bebo’s most successful productions, generating 10 million views over the series. The success of the show established James as one of the most prolific online presenters in the country. Building on this success, he became a lead presenter on Facebook’s first entertainment show, Unlimited. |
