James Honeyborne is the producer and director of many award-winning wildlife documentaries for television. James first worked for the Natural History Unit in 1989, he has been in wildlife film making ever since. He has worked both at the BBC and also for independent companies: John Downer Productions (SuperNatural, Weird Nature 1997-2002) and Yaffle Films (The Meerkats 2006-2008). He has also directed a family movie, the wildlife drama ‘The
Meerkats’. A biologist by training, he hopes that by telling entertaining stories about the planet’s most charismatic animals, enthusiasm for the natural world can be encouraged amongst audiences of all ages. A passionate belief in the need for conservation lies at the heart of his work. James is also the Wildlife Expert on BBC1's 'Wildest Dreams'.
