Representing children's book authors and illustrators.

I started working with Rosemary Canter in 2006, assiting her on her list. I was made an agent in 2010 and am looking for new authors and illustrators to add to the lovely bunch of super talented people I represent.

I enjoy strong and original storytelling, I love reading an idea or a collection of beautifully put together words that jump out of the page as something I haven't seen before. I have a passion for funny writing for 9-12s and also a penchant for the gritty and dark for all ages. Additionally I'm always looking for children's book illustrators with a contemporary, quirky style.

My favourite book is 'Skellig' by David Almond and my favourite piece of illustration is the night-time spread in 'The Tiger Who Came To Tea' by Judith Kerr, just in case you were curious.
