For his psychodynamic group work with violent prisoners, Jonathan won the national Innovation Award from the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, the largest therapy organisation in the UK.  Jonathan is credited with developing a unique approach to working with the small number of violent gang members who dominated London’s largest prison. Jonathan used this experience, along with his background as a poet, to write his first feature-length screenplay, STARRED UP.
