LAUREN BACALL wins Honorary Oscar

Congratulations to our client Lauren Bacall who was honoured this weekend with an Academy Award in recognition of her central place in the Golden Age of motion pictures.  Anjelica Huston presented the award stating that Bacall "defines what it means to be a great actress and also a huge movie star".  Bacall made her screen debut opposite Humphrey Bogart in TO HAVE AND HAVE NOT in 1944 and has subsequently appeared in a number of films including THE BIG SLEEP and DOGVILLE.
