A front-runner from the start, Liz appeared in the much coveted BBC Series The Apprentice. Ambitious, dynamic and loyal, Liz proved her business and people skills on the hit show making a huge impression by breaking an all time Apprentice sales record in week 4. Throughout the competition she received much praise with Lord Sugar recognising her as ‘very shrewd and high energy’ and ‘a great sales person and strong presenter’. Fired in week 10, Liz was the first candidate in the shows history to receive an apology and admission of regret from Lord Sugar. Despite not winning Liz walked away from the experience having deepened her understanding of and key skills within business and with a renewed confidence and focus on her future business aspirations. Prior to the show Liz was working within the finance sector. A first class honours graduate in BSc Accounting and Finance Liz worked in the front office for two global investment banks. UBS marked the beginning of her career where she joined as a graduate on the Fixed Income trading floor. Joining at the beginning of the 'credit-crunch' Liz had a steep learning curve but quickly became a valued team member with her work ethic and positive attitude. Following on from this Liz joined Deutsch Bank private wealth management. Here she worked on various projects to help build the brand as well as developing a sports and media division. Liz is currently employed by Candy & Candy. |
