Louise Houghton started her presenting career working on the European Drag Racing Championships for SKY SPORTS covering the latest news from the track at all of the European rounds.
Now continuing with her European adventures, Louise can be seen hosting Euromaxx for Deutsche Welle TV. Euromaxx is DW-TV's daily lifestyle magazine show that is packed with stories which reflect the rich diversity of cultural life in Europe, making it the first TV magazine programme ever to report on European events 365 days a year.
Before moving into presenting Louise worked on the other side of the camera on projects such as LONG WAY ROUND and RACE TO DAKAR. This production company specialised in Extreme Sports and covered many other championships from Wake-boarding to the World's Fittest Woman!
Being a guitar player, Louise has loved working on various music shows, covering the buzz at festivals and getting the low-down from numerous artists and musicians during interviews, though luckily, as a leftie, she never gets ask to demonstrate her guitar skills!
Louise has recently completed a course in Nutrition at the Open University and as a keen baker, she says she can't wait for the day when she gets to give Gordon Ramsey a run for his money with her carrot cake! |
