Mick Gordon

Mick is a writer and director. Currently he is Guest Lecturer, Creative Writing MA, Queens University Belfast where he is also a PhD candidate - Translating Artificial Intelligence into Theatre. His plays include Pressure Drop with Billy Bragg; ON/OFF with Jesper Pedersen; On Ego, On Emotion with Paul Broks; On Religion/Grace with AC Grayling; On Death with Marie de Hennezel; The Ride of Your Life, On Love and Bea.
Previously he was Artistic Director of Aarhus Theatre Denmark, Artistic Director of On Theatre and On Film, Trevor Nunn's Associate Director at the Royal National Theatre and was Director of the National's Transformation Season. He was Artistic Director of the Gate Theatre from 1998-2000. He has written eight plays. These and his latest essays are published by Oberon Books.
Awards include the Critics Circle Award for Most Promising Newcomer and the Peter Brook Award for Most Outstanding Theatre . He graduated from Oxford with first class honours.
