David Harsent wins International Griffin Poetry Prize

David Harsent has won the International Griffin Poetry Prize 2012, with his volume NIGHT (Faber and Faber).  Founded in 2000 to encourage excellence in poetry, the prize is for writing or translation into the English Language.  It was presented in Toronto, in front of an audience including Margaret Atwood, Michael Oondatje and Seamus Heaney.
