As well as a writer - performer, Nick is a talented actor

He recently filmed a lead role in Sky Living's comedy series GATES as well as new sketch series WATSON & OLIVER for BBC 2. He also appeared in Ricky Gervais & Stephen Merchant's LIFE’S TOO SHORT also for BBC2.

Nick has appeared as his own very special version of Abu Quatada in Channel Four's current series of 10 O'CLOCK LIVE.

Nick had a fantastically well-received sell-out 2010 Edinburgh show NICK MOHAMMED IS MR SWALLOW which played at The Pleasance during August. A selection of reviews are below... He will be returning to the festival in 2012 with a brand new show at the Pleasance this year with the Invisible Dot.

Nick has previously featured in BBC One’s REGGIE PERRIN and as a lead in BBC Three's comedy series THE KING IS DEAD alongside Simon Bird and Katy Wix. He also starred in BBC Two’s PETE & DUD: THE LOST SKETCHES – a celebration of Peter Cook and Dudley Moore’s lost archive – the second series of MIRANDA, and as a guest lead in the season finale of BBC Three’s HOW NOT TO LIVE YOUR LIFE.

Following on from his hit BBC Radio Four debut (QUARTERS) Nick’s second series NICK MOHAMMED IN BITS aired, to further critical acclaim. His third radio series DETECTIVE SARGENT NICK MOHAMMED went out at the end of 2011 to warm reviews.

Nick filmed various roles in the third series of triple-BAFTA- nominated sketch show SORRY, I’VE GOT NO HEAD which aired on CBBC. He is also developing THE MAKING OF MR. SWALLOW for BBC Television and has just written an original film MAGIC for Channel 4 as part of the Coming Up Scheme, which was shown at the Edinburgh International Film Festival in June.
