Coming Soon: BRITANNIA HIGH and New SPOOKS

Two highly anticipated dramas hit our screens in the coming week.

Britannia High, the new musical TV Drama, starts on Sunday 26th October 2008 at 6.15pm on ITV1. Staring Mitch Hewer, Sapphire Elia, Marcquelle Ward, Matthew James Thomas, Georgina Hagen and Rana Roy. Written by Jonathan Harvey, produced and directed by Brian Grant. Also directed by Minkie Spiro. With original music composed by some of the biggest names in pop including Gary Barlow, Guy Chambers, Steve Mac, Mark Owen and Eliot Kennedy. Created by acclaimed choreographer Arlene Phillips and theatre impresario David Ian.

The series follows the lives of the students as they attempt to learn how to make their mark on the world. They’re striving to be the best they possibly can be in every discipline and, as in life, there’s plenty of heartache, turmoil, laughs and fun along the way. There will be a spectacular live finale for the final episode.

Spooks returns to BBC1 on Monday 27th October 2008 at 9pm starring Richard Armitage, as new MI5 Officer Lucas North, with Miranda Raison and Alex Lanipekun returning. Writers include Christian Spurrier.
