THE STRIPED PYJAMAS and EDEN LAKE Open

THE BOY IN THE STRIPED PYJAMAS opens in cinemas on Friday 12th September. Written for the screen and directed by Mark Herman,
the film was described by James Christopher of The Times as "one of the
most moving and remarkable films about childhood I’ve ever seen". Based
on the novel by John Boyne,
the story is told through the eyes of Bruno, the eight year old son of
a Nazi officer as he forms an unlikely friendship with a Jewish boy.
Other United Agents’ clients involved in the film are Costume Designer Natalie Ward, and Hair and Make Up Designer Marese Langan.

Also opening on 12th September is EDEN LAKE, written and directed by James Watkins and starring Shaun Dooley.
Empire magazine considers the film: “ one of the best horror movies of
the last few years…Through controlled tension and a draining sense of
no escape, [James has] crafted a contemporary nightmare….”
The Mail
describes a “first-rate British horror film, that taps into our deepest
fears" with "a truly frightening final twist [that] makes Eden Lake not
only bleaker but also more truthful than virtually every other movie in
this genre”
