Commenting on the awards today, Rosie Boycott said:

"I'm really thrilled with this year's Oldie Travel Awards. Like the magazine, they reflect the eclectic interests and passions of our readers: quirky, different and individual. We want you to discover - and enjoy - them all. And we're never shy of sticking the boot in when we think something deserves it!"
