Praise for Nanny McPhee And The Big Bang:

“Susanna White makes an extremely impressive feature debut
... she creates a colourful, idyllic atmosphere and keeps the movie going at an
uproarious pace.

The film's superb production design and elegant structure
owe an obvious debt to Babe and The Railway Children, and they're
excellent role models: two of the finest family films ever made. Nanny McPhee & The Big Bang deserves
to be considered in the same class, with its obviously sincere enthusiasm for
family life and childlike delight in movie magic.

Whatever your age, but especially if you have a sneaking
nostalgia for the era of Enid Blyton, when children could go off and have
adventures without a thought of health and safety, this is a picture that
should bring more than a few smiles to your face and tears to your eye.

It's admirably uncool and blissfully uninterested in
cinematic fashion ... I am sure that audiences are going to love it - not only
now, but for many years to come.” ***** Chris
Tookey, Daily Mail

“This is that rare case of a sequel that is better than the
original.” **** Alex
Zane, The Sun

“British director Susanna White is interested in more than
this wild rumpus, and nudges her cameras in intriguing directions. The English
countryside is vast, sweeping and hyper-real – verdant forests, rolling hills,
magnificent fields of barley ... This is a shrewd, heartfelt piece of work.” David
Gritten, The Telegraph

OI!
TIM BURTON. Pull that annoying wacky hair out of your ears and listen up.
Because THIS is how you make a family fantasy movie ... it's a delight from
start to finish. And it boasts a fantastic cast, headed by five young actors
and Emma Thompson as the lumpy- faced governess. Plus, there's dazzling
visuals, and a script that jigs from funny to touching and back with total ease
... This is smart, witty and beautifully crafted - exactly what you want from a
family film. Roll on Nanny McThree.” **** Robbie
