Success at the BAFTA Television Awards

BBC Two’s Masterchef: The Professionals won the Features BAFTA the
BAFTA Television Awards 2010, held at the London Palladium on Sunday 6 June.
Congratulations to Gregg
Wallace
and the team at Shine/BBC Two.

Other United Agents clients helped The Thick of It sweep the awards
for Situation Comedy, Best Actress and Best Actor going to Peter Capaldi.

Ant & Dec also won their first BAFTA for Entertainment
Performance and sent their thanks to their long-term writer Andy Milligan, who also
workes on Best Entertainment Programme: Britain's Got Talent.

Joe Thomas (who plays Simon) was also at the
BAFTA’s to accept The YouTube Audience Award for The Inbetweeners
along with the other three leads and the creators Iain Morris and Damon
Beesley. The award is the only one voted for by members of the
public and this is the first time it has been part of the BAFTA Television
Awards. 






















































































































































The Virtual Revolution, BBC Two’s collaborative documentary
experiment presented by Aleks
Krotoski
also won the New Media BAFTA.
