The Imison and Tinniswood Radio Drama Awards

On the evening of 4th October, the winners of the annual Imison and Tinniswood Awards for Radio Drama were announced.

Hattie Naylor won the 2010 Tinniswood Award for the Best Original Radio Drama broadcast in 2009 for her play, IVAN AND THE DOGS, which was originally broadcast on 4th November 2009 on BBC Radio 4, and directed by Paul Dodgson.

The Imison Award is awarded to the best original radio drama by a writer new to radio.  J Parkes was highly commended for his play, THE LADY OF KINGSLAND WASTE, which was originally broadcast on BBC Radio 3 on 3rd October 2009 and directed by Jessica Dromgoole.
