SAMANTHA BARKS | Les Miserables 25th Anniversary Concerts

Samantha Barks performed to over 40,000 people at the 02 Arena in London to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the musical Les Miserables. She can currently be seen at The Queens Theatre in the West End production of the show.

She was joined on stage by a number of international performers including Alfie Boe as Jean Valjean, Matt Lucas as Thenardier, Lea Salonga as Fantine, Jenny Galloway as Madame Thenardier, Ramin Karimloo as Enjolras, Katie Hall as Cosette, Norm Lewis as Javert & Nick Jonas as Marius. There was also a chorous of over 150 singers all from different productions of the show.

Sir Cameron Mackintosh, producer of the show said that the two concerts, held on Sunday 3rd October, had been one of the 'most astonishing nights' of his life. 'Seeing everybody love this material so much & love their fellow performers is something I have never encountered in the theatre and I never will for the rest of my life'

Les Mierables is the world's longest running musical and has been seen by over 55 million people worldwide.
