Dan Snow presents FILTHY CITIES on BBC Two

Dan Snow gets down and dirty in the murky histories of London, Paris and New York, exploring their filthy histories from the bottom up.

The three-part BBC2 series, starting at 9.00pm on Tuesday 5th April, charts the sanitary history of Medieval London, Revolutionary Paris and Industrial New York with the whiffs brought to life by 'scratch and sniff' cards from your local library.
