THE CRIMSON PETAL AND THE WHITE currently showing on BBC2

Origin Pictures' adaptation of THE CRIMSON PETAL AND THE WHITE, Michel Faber's award-winning novel, hits our small screens this week.  The four-part mini-series is part of BBC2's makeover for 2011, bringing drama to the forefront of its programming.

Faber's story is set in Victorian-era England, taking us from Soho's brothels to the townhouses of Notting Hill via Kentish lavender fields.  The adaptation was directed by Marc Munden and produced by David Thompson, with production design by Grant Stewart Montgomery, costumes by Annie Symons, Lady Constance Bridgelow played by Elizabeth Berrington and appearances from Ben Bishop and Moya Brady.
