Kate Colquhoun shortlisted for CWA GOLD DAGGER AWARD

Kate Colquhoun has been nominated for the Crime Writers Association Gold Dagger Award for Non-Fiction 2011.  MR BRIGGS HAT is a gripping account of the first murder ever to take place on a British train. 

The winners are to be announced at an event at the Theakstons Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival on 22nd July.

CWA Chair Peter James said: “Our shortlists this year reflect the high quality of modern crime writing.  The range and invention shown in the shortlisted works is impressive and augers well for the health of the great tradition of ours.”
