Lucy Punch stars in POWERS for FX

Congratulations to Lucy Punch who has landed the lead role in a new pilot for FX, POWERS, written by Charles H. Eglee, and to be directed by Michael Dinnerset .

The show is based on the popular comic book series by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming, set in a world of superheros and cops. Lucy will play Deena Pilgrim, a rookie detective paired with Christian Walker (Jason Patric) as they investigate the murder of Retro Girl, a super-powered celebrity.

Lucy's other recent lead roles include BBC Two comedy drama VEXED, and on the big screen, Woody Allen's comedy YOU WILL MEET A TALL DARK STRANGER (just out on DVD). She can curently be seen in cinemas starring as Amy Squirrell in BAD TEACHER, alongside Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake.
