Penelope Skinner named most promising playwright

Penelope Skinner has been profiled in the Independent on Sunday as one of Britain’s six most promising playwrights.

Her new play, THE VILLAGE BIKE, this year’s George Devine Award winner, is currently playing to a twice-extended, sell-out run at the Royal Court.

She is currently working on a new commission for Paines Plough’s Roundabout season (in collaboration with Sheffield Theatres).
