4 Authors Nominated for ROALD DAHL FUNNY PRIZE

Congratulations to Peter Bently, Ros Asquith, Jess Mikhail and Russell Ayto for being shortlisted for the Roald Dahl Funny Prize 2011.

The Prize is divided into two categories. Nominated for the 'Funniest Book for Children Aged Six and Under' are Peter Bently's Cat's Ahoy and Russell Ayto's Fist Day at Cow School. Ros Asquith's Letters from an Alien Schoolboy and Jess Mikhail's Penny Dreadful is a Magnet for Disaster have been nominated in the seven to twelve year old category. All will compete to be the winner of their category to receive £2,500, which will be presented at an awards ceremony at the Unicorn Theatre in London on 8 November.
