Kneehigh’s THE WILD BRIDE at Lyric Hammersmith

Kneehigh’s new show, THE WILD BRIDE by Carl Grose (one of the founding members of the company), has opened at the Lyric Hammersmith before embarking on a tour across the UK.

Based on a Hungarian folk tale, it continues the company’s tradition of combining an eclectic mix of styles to create their unique brand of mythic storytelling; incorporating elements of fairytales, live music and dark humour.

Carl Grose's text and lyrics are both darkly chucklesome and extremely deft.
