SIXTY-SIX BOOKS at the Bush

To open its new home the Bush Theatre are staging an epic cycle of new writing, SIXTY-SIX BOOKS, based on the 66 books of the King James Bible to commemorate the 400th anniversary of its publication.

The productions will feature writing by Chris Goode, Trevor Griffiths, Andrew Motion, Michael Rosen, Anya Reiss; with direction by Chris Goode, Christopher Haydon (who is also an artistic collaborator on the project), Abbey Wright; and include actors Emma Amos, David Bark-Jones, Louise Brealey, Daniel Easton, Abby Ford, James Hillier, Syrus Lowe, Hattie Morahan, Javone Prince, Sian Robins-Grace, Ryan Sampson, Amit Shah, Shannon Tarbet.

The project plays at the Bush from the 10th to 29th October and will also be performed at Westminster Abbey as part of a twelve-hour overnight vigil on the 21st October.
