Adam Foulds triumphs at Frankfurt

Adam Foulds won the European Union Prize for Literature 2011 which was announced at the Frankfurt Book Fair last week. The Prize recognizes the best new or emerging authors in the EU. The winner recives €5,000 and the opportunity to have their book translated into other languages. This years winners will be presented with their awards at a ceremony in Bruxelles on November 28 in the presence of Commissioner Vassiliou and leading figures of the world of literature and culture.
