ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS is back!

The award-winning ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS will return to BBC One this Christmas with the two specials to celebrate its 20th anniversary.  A third special episode will be shown next summer to mark the London 2012 Olympics. 

Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley will reprise their roles as Edina Monsoon and Patsy Stone, together with original cast members Julia Sawalha as Saffy, June Whitfield as Mother and Jane Horrocks as Bubble.  Also look out for Lucy Montgomery as Saffy's scary new friend in episode one.

This new collection of specials picks up in the present day and not much has changed. Eddy is still into every new fad and fashion imaginable, Patsy is still living the high life, and Saffy is still battling against her mother.  Unbelievably Eddy's PA, Bubble, is still employed and is weirder than ever!

They're back, 20 years on, a teeny bit older, none the wiser but definitely still Absolutely Fabulous.

Catch the first of three brand new episodes, “Identity”, on Christmas Day at 10pm on BBC 1 and bring in the New Year with Episode 2, “Job”, on New Year’s Day at 9.40pm on BBC 1.
