Ewan McGregor and Colin McGregor present Bomber Boys

Colin and Ewan McGregor follow up their BBC One film, BATTLE OF BRITAIN with the story of BOMBER COMMAND.

It is a story of thousands of young men who fought, and often died, in the night skies above Nazi Europe. The brothers meet some of the surviving pilots and aircrew who talk about what it took to fly night after night facing the flak and the night fighters, knowing that there chances of survival were lower than any other branch of the armed services.  Their quiet heroism and collective spirit together with a series of remarkable technological advances saw Bomber Command transformed into a devastating destructive force which took the war to the heart of Germany.

Tune in to BBC1 on Sunday 5th February at 9.00pm.
