GOING DARK at Young Vic named Time Out's Critics' Choice

GOING DARK, a fully immersive piece of theatre created by Sound & Fury and Hattie Naylor, has opened at the Young Vic.

Charting an astrologer’s descent into blindness, the show utilises sensory deprivation to draw its audience into the experience.

Wonderful piece of theatre... Magnificent evening.
Independent *****

Hattie Naylor’s text is pin-sharp... A dazzling achievement that deserves a rich scattering of critical stars.
Telegraph *****

Hattie Naylor’s densely textured script... an exceptional event.
Guardian ****

You leave the theatre’s eloquent darkness with a twinge of reluctance about re-entering the seeing world.
Financial Times ****

The audio and visual trickery is first rate, but tellingly the play's soul lies in Hattie Naylor's beautifully understated text... Naylor's ear for the non sequitur-laden logic of childhood is hilariously dead-on.
Time Out ****

It will play in the Young Vic’s Maria Studio until 24th March and will then tour; dates and tickets for which can be found here.

The text has been published by Methuen Drama and can be bought here.
