Charity Wakefield heading to 1313 MOCKINGBIRD LANE

Charity Wakefield is set to co-star alongside Eddie Izzard in Mockingbird Lane, a reboot of the classic 1960's comedy The Munsters. The pilot episode has been written by Bryan Fuller (Pushing Daises) for NBC and is to be directed by Bryan Singer (The Usual Suspects/X-Men).

The story centers on a family of "monsters" - vampires, werewolves and Frankenstein. Charity will play the role of Marilyn, the beauitiful niece and the only "normal" Munster, which in turn makes her quite abnormal. Eddie Izzard will play Grandpa Munster.

Charity recently finished filming the independent feature Scar Tissue and is currently filming Leaving for ITV alongside Helen McCory. She will then play the role of Bradley Cooper's sister Agatha in the Susanna Bier directed feature Serena before filming for Mockingbird Lane begins in June.
