DEREK to premiere on Channel 4

Ricky Gervais writes, directs and stars in, Derek – a comedy drama that follows the lives of a group of people on society’s margins.  Gervais plays Derek Noakes, a kindly man who works in a retirement home, lives with cynical caretaker Dougie (played by Karl Pilkington in his acting debut) and spends his time autograph-hunting and watching funny animal videos on YouTube. 

This new sitcom also stars David Earl as Cliff.

The pilot will air on Channel 4 on 12^th April at 10pm.
