Alba Arikha’s MAJOR/MINOR Shortlisted for Spear’s Award

Alba Arikha whose deeply affecting coming-of-age memoir MAJOR/MINOR has been shortlisted for the Spear’s Award in her category. The Spear’s Awards which are now in their fourth year, recognise the best writing in different fields, from finance to fiction and biography. Past winners include Justin Cartwright’s OTHER PEOLPE’S MONEY, Candia McWilliam’s WHAT TO LOOK FOR IN WINTER and WOLF HALL (before the Booker Prize...) The winners will be announced during a lunch at Massimo at Corinthia’s on the 1st October.
