Ruth Rendell's '13 STEPS DOWN' on ITV1

An adaptation of Ruth Rendell's 13 STEPS DOWN (2004) is due to be broadcast on ITV1 on the 13th August. A psychological thriller set in Notting Hill, the story follows the inhabitants of the area, focussing on the disturbed Mix Cellini (Luke Treadaway), a young man who becomes inceasingly obsessed with both a local model Nerissa, and the serial killer, John Christie.  Meanwhile, below Mix, his landlady, Gwendoline (Gemma Jones), leads an increasingly lonely and isolated life, unaware of her tenant's activities.

Part one of 13 STEPS DOWN will be broadcast on Monday 13th August, at 9:00pm.  It concludes on Monday the 20th August, at the same time.
