Emma Thompson - THE FURTHER TALE OF PETER RABBIT

In 2012 Emma Thompson received an intriguing package in the post.  Inside a small cardboard box was a half-eaten radish leaf and a letter from Peter Rabbit.  The letter said a “certain mischievous twinkle” in Emma’s eye made her the perfect person to write another adventure for the rabbit. The adventure takes place in Scotland with Peter’s cousin, a huge black rabbit called Finlay McBurney.

Emma opened an exhibition  of Peter Rabbit  at Glasgow’s Scotland Street School Museum last week.  This exhibition will run until February next year.

The book is published on Thursday 6^th September to celebrate Peter’s 110^th birthday.
