Carol Anshaw shortlisted for the Green Carnation Prize

Carol Anshaw’s new novel Carry the One has just been shortlisted for the Green Carnation Prize, a prize that aims to celebrate LGBT writing from all over the world. Published earlier this year in America to rave reviews, Carry the One has since become a New York Times Bestseller. Fig Tree will publish in the UK later this month.

The winning title of the prize will be announced on December 12, 2012. Named after the green carnation historically sometimes worn as an emblem of homosexuality, the prize is in its third year.
