EVENING STANDARD THEATRE AWARDS 2012

Congratulations to Hattie Morahan and Nicholas Hytner, who were both winners at the Evening Standard Theatre Awards last night.  The awards were presented in a star-studded event, which was compered by James Corden.

Hattie Morahan was awarded the Natasha Richardson Award for Best Actress for her critically acclaimed performance as Nora in A Doll's House at the Young Vic - a role she will reprise at the theatre for a second limited run next April.

Nicholas Hytner won two awards, picking up best director for Timon of Athens and the Lebedev Special Award for his dynamic directorship of the National Theatre.
