Sheila Heti nominated for the Women's Prize for Fiction

Sheila Heti’s divisively controversial novel, HOW SHOULD A PERSON BE?, has been longlisted for what was the Orange Prize for Fiction. Published earlier this year to excellent reviews it has already caused quite a stir.

Of the 140 titles entered, 20 novels have made it onto the incredibly diverse longlist, celebrating the very best of fiction in the English language written by women throughout the world. Only this year will the prize be called the Women's Prize for Fiction.

A shortlist will soon be announced, followed by the winner in June, by which time the prize should have a new sponsor for next year.
