THE LOW ROAD opens at The Royal Court Theatre

“Tis one thing to admit the inescapable cruelty of nature, friend, but quite a different one to encourage it.”

Dominic Cooke's production of Bruce Norris's new play THE LOW ROAD opened at the Royal Court Theatre this week, a fable of free market economics and the excesses of cut-throat capitalism, set for the most part in 18th century America.

Johnny Flynn leads the cast as marauding financial speculator Jim Trumpett, and also includes Elizabeth Berrington, Simon Paisley Day and Edward Killingback.
