Full of sketches, songs and silliness – and fresh from a sell-out national tour – Ed Gaughan directs ‘one of the finest sketch troupes of the last decade’ (Guardian).

Ed Gaughan started working with Pappy's in 2012; directing Last Show Ever in Edinburgh, where it was the smash hit success of the festival, garnering nine 5 star reviews and earning an Edinburgh Comedy Award nomination for Best Show.

Ed is a member of The London Snorkelling Team ('priceless - as brilliant as they are hilarious'. The Guardian) He co-directed Josie Long's Be Honourable! at the Edinburgh Festival 2006, where it was nominated for Best Show. He also co-directed Will Adamsdale's The Receipt, to excellent reviews.

Ed is an actor, writer and musician as well as a director. In 2010 Ed starred Nick Whitfield's debut film Skeletons, which was nominated for a BIFA and a BAFTA and won The Michael Powell Award for Best British Feature at the Edinburgh International Film Festival. Ed was nominated for The Peter Sellers Award For Comedy at the London Evening Standard Awards 2011 for his outstanding performance in the film.
