THE AMERICANS starring Matthew Rhys airs on ITV1

This past weekend saw the new 13 part series THE AMERICANS begin on ITV1 (Saturday's, 10pm).

Set during the Cold War period in the 1980's, The Americans is the story of Philip (Matthew Rhys) & Elizabeth Jennings (Keri Russell), two Soviet KGB Officers posing as an American married couple in the suburbs of Washington D.C. in order to spy on the United States.

You'll be gripped from the moment Fleetwood Mac's "Tusk" starts playing. The Super Secret Spies have arrive!
