BIFA 2013 nominations announced

Congratulations to all of our clients on their nominations for the British Independent Film Awards!

FILTH, starring James McAvoy and designed by Mike Gunn, has five nominations including Best Actor and Best Achievement in Production.

LOCKE, written and directed by Steven Knight, edited by Justine Wright and starring Tom Hardy, Olivia Colman and Andrew Scott, has received three nominations for Best Screenplay, Best Actor and Best Technical Achievement (for editing).

STARRED UP has received 8 nominations, including Best Screenplay for newcomer Jonathan Asser and Best Director for David Mackenzie.

PHILOMENA, co-written by Jeff Pope, is nominated for four awards including Best Screenplay and Best British Independent Film.

JONAH, shot by Chloƫ Thomson, is nominated for Best Short Film.

THE SELFISH GIANT, designed by Helen Scott and with costumes by Matthew Price, is nominated for seven awards including Best Achievement in Production.

TITUS, written by Nico Mensinga, is nominated for the Raindance Award as well as for Best Debut Director

THE MACHINE, starring Toby Stephens, and EVERYONE IS GOING TO DIE, starring Rob Knighton, are also nominated for the Raindance Award.

THE STONE ROSES: MADE OF STONE and A FIELD IN ENGLAND, both shot by Laurie Rose, are nominated for Best Documentary and Best Achievement in Production, respectively.
