Chris Urch wins Judges Award

Congratulations to Chris Urch, who received a Judges Award from the Royal Exchange as part of the 2013 Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting. 1,800 plays were submitted, from which 10 were shortlisted.

The Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting is the biggest national competition for playwriting. It is the search for great new plays and great writers. Since its inception in 2005, 11 writers have been awarded a total of £120,000, there have been eight full productions and well over 7000 entries generated by the Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting.
